Tuesdays Are For Inspiration

I believe my friend Grace is Mary Poppins. She blows into town right when everything is a hot mess and she makes things better and then, like the change of seasons, she's gone again. Today she said I was Maria Von Trapp and I think that's a wonderful comparison to be involved in, short of anything involving Nazis. This Tuesday, let the words of the real Maria Von Trapp inspire you.

The most striking difference between little ones and grown ups is that little ones cannot worry, and they cannot worry because they have no past and no future. They live only in the present moment.
Just watch children.
If they play, they play & don't even hear us call them & don't notice anything that is going on around them.
If they eat, they eat, if they sleep, they sleep.
There's a beautiful English word which describes how they do whatever they do, they do it 'whole-heartedly', whereas grownups always are half-hearted.
-Maria Von Trapp

Whatever you do, do it whole-heartedly.
Other languages don't have this word, so don't take it for granted.
